We have migrated the server to another host server.
Our server resides in a virtual container on a host server alongside other servers in their own containers. The virtual containers are isolated from each other but are burstable in that they can take more than their allotted host server resources for a short period of time. It turns out that one of the server containers on our host server has been periodically hogging virtually all of the host server resources causing high load on our server even though our resources usage is actually quite low.
Already server response seems snappier and the statistics look good!
