After a less than positive experience with a certain hosting provider, I began providing my own web hosting as JPK Video Internet Services in 2002. Starting out with a single server connected to a DSL line, I soon added more and bigger servers. Eventually, I moved the servers to a data center. After one too many midnight trips to the data center to reboot, I decided that using managed servers would be easier and more reliable. Now I use Media Temple, a top provider of managed servers, used by many in the design community. The servers are located in a top notch data center on the West Coast. I am proud to work with Media Temple and we are in good company (AIGA, ABC, Adobe, Diesel, Sony, Warner Bros., OBEY, A List Apart, the list goes on...).
Because we are small, we are truly invested in your satisfaction. We take pride in our service to you. Sure you can find cheaper, bigger, unlimited this and that, but you get what you pay for and I believe we are offering a pretty good deal. Check out this article: The Truth About Unlimited Webspace and Bandwidth. Our servers are fast, reliable and secure. We use them ourselves so you know if there is a glitch, we're going to be on it!
In 2009 JPK Video re-branded as smallGod Media.
The name smallGod comes the literal meaning of the my name: Jon-Paul, where Jon comes from Jehovah or God and Paul comes from small. Hence: smallGod. The logo represents the name by depicting a molecule (small) and an all seeing eye (God). It is meant to be lexical rather than have any religious connotations.

We began providing web hosting as JPK Video Internet Services in 2002. We started out providing hosting to our web design clients because we felt the need to have control over our web server. It started out as a single server connected to a DSL line in the office. As we grew it became apparent that we should move to a data center. Now we are located in one of the premiere data centers on the West Coast. In 2009 we re-branded as smallGod Media.
